We have a mouse or three in our house...I asked Julia to buy us some mousetraps from the basroba (bazaar) and this is what she came up with. Looks like they were built on laminate flooring out of high-gage steel wire...perhaps that's why the Soviet Union dissolved: inability to make a better mousetrap. These babies were unable to catch mice with cheese, but when I tied bacon to the trigger with dental floss, Snap snap snap three mice in twelve minutes. Mmmm bacon! Eli: 4, Mice: 0 (the fourth mouse I caught with my bare hands but it doesn't count because I caught it in the 5-year-olds' classroom...but that's a story for another time!
